ABOUT FCMA

FCMA is a national association that advocates for the Chinese medicine profession, supports practitioners, and makes regular submissions on behalf of the profession to government and regulatory agencies

FCMA is internationally recognised and is one of the founders of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS)

Registered practitioners of Chinese herbal medicine

Registered practitioners of Chinese herbal dispensing

Practitioners of tuina and massage therapy who meet the qualification criteria

WHAT CAN WE DO ?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): FCMA provides a minimum of 20 hours in seminars and workshops each year, with a minimum of 4 hours in professional issues, to meet our members' registration requirements

Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII): FCMA members have access to discounted premiums with GSA, the award winning insurer offering top cover at very competitive rates (or you may choose your own insurer)

First Aid Course: FCMA arranges discounted first aid courses at the level required

Practitioner Directory: FCMA members are entered on the FCMA website public directory

JOIN US YOU NEED

To join, you need to complete FCMA membership application form and declaration form as well as the following certified copies documents:

Graduation certificate and academic transcript
Current AHPRA certificate (for Chinese medicine practitioners)
Current certificate of First Aid
Certificate of currency for Professional Indemnity Insurance (if you are applying for PII for the first time, submit other documents first so an FCMA number can be allocated to enable you to get the FCMA discount)
